Hi, I’m a mom of two, Anna, age 7, and Jack, age 9. I love being a mom, but find it to be one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever done. And I’ve done a lot. From farming a hay and cattle ranch high up in the Rocky Mountains, to marketing intelligence for a corporate law firm, nothing could prepare me for the way my children challenge my every notion of what I thought I knew. My kids are like the hosts of Mythbusters, challenging what I say and testing it. They’re merciless at needing truth, honesty, and answers. So I look for it and share it, through friends, blogging and trying to capture the opportunities life presents. And in my spare time I teach at the College of Marin in Kentfield and assist in a nonprofit program called Horse Sense for Teens at Risk at Medicine Horse Ranch in Tomales, California.
