I remember being told that playing Gameboy for too long would ruin your eyes. But at least for six-year-old Ben Michaels, playing a handheld Nintendo DS for two hours a day helped restore his sight. Ben nearly went blind in one eye from amblyopia at age four, but his vision gradually returned to the point where he can now read.
Playing two hours of Mario Kart each day with his twin brother Jake while wearing an eye patch on his good eye forced his weaker eye to work harder. The treatment worked immediately, improving his vision 250% in the first week. Truly amazing!
This isn’t the first evidence that video games help eyesight. A study from last year revealed that adults who play video games are better at discerning shades of gray. I’m not really trying to encourage kids to stare at a Nintendo for two hours a day, but do you think there are positive benefits for children who play video games regularly?

I read about this. An AOL article said the doctor wasn't sure it was the video game itself or simply that this method made the kid practice using his eye.
Certainly, video games can have positive effects. There's a lot of puzzle games that are keeping our brains in shape!

I have seen loads of useful items on your internet site about computers. However, I’ve got the impression that laptops are still more or less not powerful sufficiently to be a wise decision if you normally do things that require many power, like video enhancing.
