Responding to last night’s earthquake in Haiti, the Red Cross is suggesting cash donations as the best way to help the relief efforts. There are three ways to donate:
- Bring or mail a check to the local chapter at 606 Hutchinson Ave., Hattiesburg.
- Text Haiti to 90999. A $10 donation will be made to the American Red Cross.
- Visit www.redcross.org and donate online.
