Life360 Works with Nest to Make Smart Homes Even Smarter

Family and location awareness expands the accuracy and simplicity of Nest-powered homes

San Francisco, Calif. – October 24, 2014 – Life360, the leading Family Network, announced today that the company is working with on integration with the Nest Learning Thermostat™. Nest customers will be able to fully automate climate control based on family and location awareness, making climate control simple and reliable. The Life360 integration with Nest will be available for download starting next month.

With Nest and Life360, climate control is automatic and can be turned on or off based on when family members leave or arrive home. The Life360 integration with Nest means your thermostat can adjust automatically based on when the last family member leaves and when you’re close to home, allowing users to stay comfortable and save energy at the same time. Life360’s geofencing capabilities also expands the capability to detect physical presence outside of the home by responding to pre-set triggers when family members leave work or school.
