How to Set Up Tile Trackers in the Life360 App

Published: 8 Sept 2023

Keeping track of your belongings and loved ones has become much easier, thanks to the integration between Tile trackers and the Life360 App. In the past, consumers had to use one platform to track lost items and another system to locate family. However, you can now view Tile Bluetooth trackers directly in the Life360 App.

Since each solution still operates independently, users will need to link their Tile and Life360 accounts to initiate the dual tracking capabilities. The following guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to activate the new functionality.

How to Get Tile Trackers on Life360

Even though the ability to track Tile devices on Life360 is new, activating the function is relatively simple. Here’s a look at the steps you’ll need to follow to link your Tile account to your Life360 account:

  • Open or download the Life360 app on your smartphone.

  • If you have a Life360 account, log in. If not, select “Get Started” to create an account.

  • Select the Circle you want to add Tiles to.

  • Tap the keys icon or scroll down to and select “Add an Item.”

  • Select “Add your Tiles.”

  • If you have a Tile account, select “Yup, link my Tile account,” or select “Not Yet” to download the Life360 app and create an account.

  • Login to Tile.

  • On the Success screen in Life360, tap the arrows to view Tile functions.

    1. On the Enable Bluetooth screen in the welcome flow, tap “Enable Bluetooth.”

    2. Tap “Ok” on the pop-up notification.

  • Tiles will show on the Life360 map.
