How to Improve Tile Tracker Accuracy

Tile trackers have a reputation for being reliable and accurate within the device’s Bluetooth range. However, the functionality of the tracking devices relies heavily on your mobile phone's Bluetooth. If Bluetooth isn't enabled on your device or isn't working properly, you could notice tracking capabilities issues. 

It's also important to have your mobile device connected to WiFi or cellular data if you're relying on the Tile Network to find a lost tracker. Without the connection, you won't receive updates from the Life360 App. 

If you still find that the Life360 App is not reflecting an accurate location, there are a few ways to improve tracking accuracy:

1. Update your phone’s operating system to the latest version.

2. Make sure that your Life360 App is updated to the most recent update.

3. Confirm that location services are turned on for both your device AND the Life360 App.

5. Battery Savings settings can slow location updates or stop locations from updating altogether in an effort to save phone battery. 

6. If the steps above do not improve location reporting, sign out and then sign back into your account.
