When you send a Lost Pet Alert to Life360's Pet Finder Network, here's what happens:
Your Lost Pet Alert goes live.
Your pet’s profile with photo, last known location, and your contact info are all included — everything a neighbor needs to spot your escape artist.
Nearby users receive the Lost Pet Alert alert.
Nearby Life360 Pet Finder Network members in your area receive a notification and inbox message — the same way they’d hear about anything else happening close to home.
Sightings come to you.
Anyone who spots your pet can contact you directly through the contact information you provided. No middlemen. No delays.
Your alert stays active for 72 hours.
Your Lost Pet Alert expires after three days. Once your pet is found within that timeframe, deactivate the alert in the app. Need more time? Re-issue it to extend the search another 72 hours.
