Introducing No Show Alerts: Know When They Don’t Arrive, Right on Time
Never Miss a Moment: Introducing No Show Alerts from Life360
Now you’ll know when your loved ones don’t arrive — right when it matters most.
Real Peace of Mind Starts with Knowing
You shouldn’t have to constantly refresh a map or wait for a “made it!” text to feel at ease.
That’s why we built No Show Alerts, a new feature in Life360 that lets you know if a family member doesn’t arrive at a set location by a certain time.
Whether it’s your teen missing curfew, your child not showing up to school, or a pickup running late — Life360 takes the guesswork out of wondering where they are and replaces it with confidence and calm.
What Are No Show Alerts?
No Show Alerts are notifications that let you know when a loved one hasn’t arrived where they were supposed to be, by the time you expect.
It’s a proactive way to stay informed without constantly tracking their live location or sending check-in texts. Once it's set up, Life360 handles the rest for you.
How It Works
It takes less than a minute to set up:
Open the Life360 app and select the family member you want to set an alert for
Tap “Set a No Show Alert”
Choose the place and the time they should be there
Decide if you want it to repeat on certain days or just happen once
Get a notification if they don’t arrive on time
Simple, flexible, and made for everyday life.
Real-Life Uses for Real Families
Teen drivers: Let’s say your 16-year-old is driving home from a friend’s house and should be back by 10 pm. If they don’t make it by then, Life360 sends you an alert so you don’t have to stay up watching the map.
School routines: Set an alert to check if your child has arrived at school by 8:15 am. It’s like a digital attendance check made just for parents.
Pickups and drop-offs: If your partner hasn’t picked up the kids by 3 pm., you’ll know right away and can step in, so the day can continue running smoothly.
Built from Real Family Feedback
We created No Show Alerts after hearing from Life360 members across the country:
“I always check the map at night to see if my daughter made it home.”
“It would be so helpful to know if my child didn’t get to school in the morning.”
“I rely on location tracking, but it’s still stressful.”
This feature was made to remove that stress and give families a calmer, smarter way to stay connected.
A Smarter Kind of Family Safety
Whether you’re in Seattle, London, Melbourne, or anywhere in between, No Show Alerts give you more control over your family’s routines. It’s a thoughtful update designed to make daily logistics easier for families, parents, and caregivers alike.
